1. Acceptance & changes

By using the I'M DEAD website and will-generation tools (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Not a law firm / no legal advice

I'M DEAD is not a law firm, is not a substitute for a lawyer, and does not provide legal advice. The Service generates documents from general legal templates for your province based on the information you provide; it does not evaluate your specific circumstances the way a lawyer reviewing your situation would.

3. Accounts & security

You need an account to save, resume, and download your documents. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to generate documents for someone else without their knowledge and consent, to misrepresent your identity, or to interfere with the Service's normal operation.

5. Payment, pricing, taxes

Certain features of the Service may require a one-time payment. Pricing, currency, and applicable taxes will be shown before you are charged. This section is dormant today — payment is not currently required to preview or download your documents.

6. Refunds

Where payment is required, we intend to offer a money-back guarantee within a stated window, matching the refund policy shown on the Pricing page at the time of your purchase.

7. Your responsibility for accuracy & execution

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. A document generated by the Service is not legally valid until it has been properly printed, signed, and witnessed according to the requirements of your province.

8. Intellectual property

All content, software, and document templates that make up the Service are owned by GNAD Apps Ltd. or its licensors. The documents you generate from your own answers belong to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GNAD Apps Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. No warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Privacy incorporation

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Severability & force majeure

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
